The transmission will be tuned also for firmer shifts, torque converter will lock-up sooner, and added line pressure for the added HP over stock.
This is a Brand New SUPER PERFORMANCE 4″ Polished intake with the aFe Filter or the K&N Air Filter, cold air induction system for the F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550 or Excursion Ford Powerstroke 94.5-03 with the 7.3L. It will work on all 7.3L engines.

Boost Relief Valve (Optional)
The SES light for overboost will come on at about 25 lbs. causing the PCM to decrease fuel delivery attempting to control the boost. This condition usually occurs in “chipped” vehicles. The BRV+ (Boost Relief Valve Plus) will relieve any excess pressure to the map sensor while allowing the engine to receive full boost. No more SES light and full fuel delivery through all RPM and boost ranges. Includes Instructions for easy installation.
